With hooks they put him in a wooden cage,[a]

    planted by water, fruitful and full of branches
    because of plentiful waters.
11 Its strong branches[d] became scepters for rulers.
    It towered high, among the clouds.
    It was outstanding because of its height,
    and because of the abundance of its branches.
